GENERAL BACKGROUND

As a first generation college student, I recognize the value and importance of education in enabling opportunities to ensure and sustain a lucrative and rewarding life. My passion for imparting knowledge across educational structures is the motive behind my scientific objective of disseminating empirical research.

I began my academic story by dedicating most of my recreational time at addressing and exploring uncommon questions or behaviors that were inadequately evaluated. This was decisive in my ambition to become involved in my research domain of investigating spatial development. In conjunction with examining language acquisition, my goal of studying spatial development was aligned with merging both areas that I was zealous about by joining the Project on Language and Spatial Development.

Having had the privilege of being invited to and accepted to present at numerous revered psychology conferences has enhanced my research gamut of increasing awareness about the importance behind spatial development to incentivize the implementation of practices encouraging the frequent engagement of regular spatial activity participation with a determination to minimize the disparities that exist regarding sex differences observed in representations across STEM fields.
